While this course is primarily built for architecture, engineering, and interior design students — giving you the exact, repeatable process most students spend years piecing together on their own — homeowners planning a renovation and hobbyists curious about floor plans are welcome too. The same process applies either way; you'll just be using it on your own house instead of a plate. Just keep in mind that this course is meant to teach you how floor plans are made, not to replace one — for any real building project, always consult a licensed professional.
It may work as a refresher to re-establish your foundations. Some students further along in school find useful shortcuts, design checklists, and layout strategies they may have missed in their early years, but the course is built primarily as a study supplement, so please review the module list before enrolling to decide if it fits your level.
